I’m Subana,
(sue-buh-nah)
I’m a transdisciplinary founder and researcher working at the intersection of neurotechnology, women’s health, decision science, and inclusive systems design.

My work is shaped by a belief that the most important human challenges do not sit neatly within one discipline.
They live across the brain and body, across systems and environments, across lived experience and scientific inquiry. That is what drew me to build Olai.
Olai is a research-led effort to better understand the dynamic relationship between cognition, physiology, emotional regulation, and energy over time, especially where conventional models have failed to capture the full reality of people’s lives.
Across more than 15 years of work spanning global tech, startups, talent, and systems change, I have consistently been drawn to complexity, particularly the kinds that are dismissed, misunderstood, or designed around poorly. As a transdisciplinary practitioner, I see research as a bridge: between fields, between people, and between insight and action.
Olai reflects that approach. It is an attempt to build more rigorous, whole-human tools for understanding capacity, health, and everyday functioning."
